ABOUT

There are three hours until the curtain opens on the musical event of the decade and Tito Merelli is not ready to perform. His singing partners cancelled, his daughter is growing up too fast, and the food spread in his five-star hotel is all wrong. It’s a race against the clock to sort out his personal issues but they just seem to be getting more complicated! A sequel to Lend Me A Tenor, this non-stop barrage of hilarity sets out to remind us all that family is really what’s important.

REVIEWS

“The Miss Firecracker Contest” is an amusing satirical take on the politics of beauty contests in general. In this social climate, that’s something that should be applauded.

It’s like your favorite Southern relatives come for a visit. You’ll chuckle and belly-laugh your way through their stories. But listen closely, and you begin to see that each of those amusing relatives are tilted just a bit off their axis.

— Amy J. Parrent, EncoreMichigan.com

Cochrane invites us to sympathize with, and feel affection for, these somewhat cartoonish figures while also heartily laughing at their absurd foibles.

— Jenn McKee, A2 Arts Addict
