Bernard is planning a romantic weekend with his chic mistress. He has engaged a cook to prepare gourmet delights, packed his wife Jacqueline off to her mother’s, and invited his best friend, Robert, to provide the alibi. What could possibly go wrong? A hilarious evening ensues as we discover Robert and Jacqueline are secret lovers, the cook is mistaken for the mistress, the mistress is unable to cook and Bernard and Robert must improvise at breakneck speed.
“Complicated and convoluted, the story unwinds like the gears of a fine watch, the timing is terrific, the acting and direction stellar, and the set design so finely wrought that one marvels at the attention to detail. Truly a league of its own. Producing Director James Kuhl brings another winning night out to the Tipping Point stage.” -LIVE THEATRE By Paul Arlon
